From the "cirque du fer à cheval" to "le bout du monde"

Samoens is a mountain village in the "vallée du Giffre" with 2500 local people. An ideal place for a family or for sporting holiday . Samoens has kept its own identity and is a lovely village. Samoens is an easy destination; not far away from Cluses  and Bonneville (30 minutes), and 1 hour from Geneva.

In the town center there are all the shops which will guarantee a good stay, groceries, fruit and vegetables, butcher shop, local products (cheese, hot wine, ham…), ... and many restaurants. The tourist office provides all information to spend a enjoyable trip, and give us the daily local weather forecast.

Ski Lift (express 8-seats) transports you to the ski field of the Grand Massif (Samoens, Flaine, Sixt, Morillon, Les Carroz) with more than 250 km of slopes. Free ski bus shuttle within 130 meters.

You can easily find fields for the cross country sking or for snowwhoes activities with several levels and  beautiful views!
